Of the grace that is greater than all my sin
Of when justice was served and where mercy wins
Of the kindness of Jesus that draws me in
Oh to tell you my story is to tell of Him
~Big Daddy Weave

Hey there, I thought I would take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Melissa. I am a wife to my sweet husband of 14 years (17 together). That’s a praise right there folks! Marriage takes work but when you put God first He will teach you how to love like He does. We are raising two teenagers, which is a whole new landscape in parenting. Our son is 15 and growing up so fast, he is funny and fun, they boy keeps us laughing. Our daughter is 13, she is a kind and gentle soul who loves animals and art. Our other family members are made of fur, a tiny puppy named Ash and our lovable 165 pound dog named Max.
I currently work full time as a Senior Director. In 2016 God began opening doors for me at my local church, I have been leading our Women’s Ministry Team there since early 2017. It is such a blessing, honor, and privilege to serve the Church. I am passionate about it and believe that God has a place for every believer to serve. I also go to Seminary full time. I am in a 5 year degree program working towards a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Divinity degree with only a year and a half to go! My passion and heart is teaching women how to draw near to Jesus and how to understand the Bible so they can have a deeper connection with God through His Word. I also am passionate about the lost; there are real eternal things at stake in this life and we ought to love the lost like Jesus, having a deep conviction for the salvation of others. As far as hobbies go, I am an avid coffee and tea drinker, I love to read, do crafts, Bible journal, make my home homey, cook, and go big for special occasions.
Of all the roles I hold the most important one to me is Daughter of the King! Jesus is the light of my life, my closest friend. He has been the one consistent piece of my entire life and anything good about me is only because of Him. Jesus has blessed me with all of my blessings and held me through my hardest days. I need Him always, everyday, and rejoice to be with with Him. There is no substitute for the Lord ya’ll. He is the one and only way to eternal life. He is the peace that surpasses all understanding. Our family has had so many blessings but we also have walked through (and still are) walking through some serious struggles. I am able to face these hard things because I know with all my heart that my Savior has been there through all of it, down in the valleys and up on the mountain tops, He is there. Behind us, before us, and beside us, He is there.
I pray that this site will bring you encouragement and point you to the one and only true hope in this world, Jesus!
